Electrical engineering
Electrical engineering is an engineering discipline concerned with uses of electricity and its physical phenomena. Originally electrical engineering formed part of physics but over the course of time has developed into its own discipline. It includes the production of electricity, the conversion of forms of energy into electrical energy and the transmission and distribution of electrical energy. As electrical current has become indispensable today, electrical engineering affects practically all spheres of life.
